Why was the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) Speakers Bureau created?

The RCAF Speakers Bureau was created to inform and connect Canadians with Canada’s Air Force through those who have experienced it first-hand: the airmen and airwomen who proudly serve Canada.

Is the RCAF Speakers Bureau open to everyone?

Schools, service clubs, conference, community associations, business groups and organizations across the country can request a speaker through the RCAF Speakers Bureau. Unfortunately, the RCAF Speakers Bureau cannot accommodate requests to support fundraising events and partisan political activities.

Is there a cost to request a speaker through the RCAF Speakers Bureau?

There is no charge for this service and we’ll make every effort to meet your request, subject to availability of a suitable speaker within your geographical area. If we’re unable to arrange for a speaker to present in-person, we will make every effort to use alternative options, including the use of digital media.

I’m organizing an event outside of Canada, do you support such requests?

No – the RCAF Speakers Bureau supports events within Canada.

I’m not looking for a Speaker, but I am looking to have an aircraft or a band at my event. Is this part of the Speakers Bureau?

Requests for aircraft demonstration teams, aircraft for fly-pasts or static displays, or one of our excellent Royal Canadian Air Force Bands, are not part of the RCAF Speakers Bureau.
