Chief Warrant Officer J.O.P. Jetté joined the Canadian Forces in 1983 out of the Montreal area.  Following his graduation as a Mobile Support Equipment Operator, he commenced his operational career with a posting to 8 Wing Trenton.  His domestic postings also included 15 Wing Moose Jaw, Area Support Unit London, Canadian Forces Joint Support Group Kingston, Canadian Forces Base Borden and 14 Wing Greenwood.  

Chief Warrant Officer Jetté varied career also included posting outside of Canada to 4 Service Battalion, Lahr, Germany and EL Gorah, Egypt. He also participated in a myriad of deployments, major exercises and tasks such as; the Gulf War, Bosnia, Haiti, Croatia, Turkey, Canadian Forces Station Alert and Exercise Rendezvous 87 and 89.

In 2010, Chief Warrant Officer Jetté was selected for the Non-Commissioned Member Executive Professional Development Program at the Royal Military College of Canada and prior to becoming the 2 Canadian Air Division Chief Warrant Officer, served as the Wing Chief Warrant Officer at 14 Wing Greenwood.
